We drove out to Chicago with Nate Kinsella in the middle of Winter to record this. He was living in a giant warehouse loft space in Chicago that doubled as all sorts of stuff, including a practice space & demo recording room for the bands he was in. We got in there, kind of scrapped together a full drum kit out of parts that were laying around (Nate's Make Believe drum kit didn't have high-hats and was built weirdly...I don't really remember what else was weird about it other than the high-hats, but something about it wouldn't work for this) and worked through all the songs we had at the time.

We didn't have a bass player (anymore/yet), so Tim ran his guitar through two different amps; one was a regular guitar amp, and the other was meant to pick up lower tones...I don't know Thing One about that stuff, but it seems to have worked.

I remember that it was really cold in there, and Nate was really sick. I was sorta freaked out because there were a ton of props laying around from the Joan of Arc "Live in Chicago, 1999" album art photo shoot—which was a pretty important album for me at the time—and Sam Zurick was in his bedroom playing these really noodly guitar things whenever we'd go check our email or whatever. But mostly, Nate was really sick, that's what I remember the most.

Released way back in 2005 on the now-defunct "Say & Stay Said" label. Limited to 1000 physical copies with die-cut sleeves from Starshaped Press in Chicago, Illinois that were printed and assembled by hand in a couple different basements.

At this point, Everybell & Whistle was Timothy Cronin, Jacob Steinbauer & Dan Black.

Recorded in December, 2004 by Nate Kinsella at the Make Believe Modest Home Studio & Commune in Chicago, Illinois.

All of the songs were written by Everybell, except for some lyrics that were either paraphrased or respectfully stolen outright from Best Friends Forever, Jenny Bitner, Check Engine, John Fusco, and Eddie Money.
